Too much of a loser for a cool blog title

sometimes i think about how constellations are an entirely man-made construct and don’t actually exhist inherently in nature. i mean, the universe just gave us stars, and we saw art and myths and stories in them. the capacity that humans have for seeing purpose in the incidental makes me realize just how lonely we are on this planet, desperately searching for meaning elsewhere in the universe.

I’m sooo strong and masculine my arm doesn’t even shake when I’m holding a pot over the sink while I fill it up with water (lying)

In the same way that magic cannot be magic if it is perfectly understood, people can only be hot if they look a little weird.

although my politics are sympathetic to ethical direct action and illegality, i would of course never engage in those things myself. but if you are thinking about engaging in illegal activity as a result of the court decision that’s coming down, please do not post about it online, ever, anywhere. yes, even on tumblr. yes, even on that site you think is private. yes, even in DMs between you and a friend. do not engage with anyone posting about those things publicly either.

love in fiction when scientists get a little too wild in the pursuit of science and end up a little fucked up because of it. you inject yourself with alien dna, you meld minds with some kind of mysterious creature, you let the parasite infect you. like yesss express your total devotion to your field by sacrificing a part of yourself to it and becoming slightly unhuman in the process

so-over-ableism:

auditory processing issues are like yes i can hear everything in this room no i didn’t hear what you said yes i will finish your sentence when you restart and no i will not know the answer to your question after all of this
